and regulations.
Please note: A specific campsite/cabin may be requested;
however, the availability at check-in cannot be guaranteed.
Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are restricted to the campsite.
Illegal substances of any kind are not permitted.
Cancellations / Refund Policy
We require 10 days notice to cancel; 30 days notice
for groups of 20 or more. A refund will be given
on cancelled site reservations providing appropriate
notice has
been received. A handling charge of $12.00 per site
will be deducted from any refund issued and a one-night
deposit will be charged for any cancellation with
less than a 10-day notice.
Sorry, no refunds due to no-shows, late arrivals, early
departures, inclement weather, personal reasons, etc.
Campers, if you know you will be arriving late, please
call to confirm your late arrival time so your site
will not be cancelled. Campers have until 1:00PM the
following day of your initial arrival date to check-in,
otherwise a no-show will be issued without a refund.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
Campsite and cabin check-in time is anytime after 3:00
PM. Campsite check-out time is 1:00 PM. Cabin check-out
time is 11:00 AM. An additional fee will be charged
for early check-in prior to 1:00 PM if the site is
available. Please check-out with the registration
office or drop your car pass in the check-out box
located on the signpost near the office. Sites may
not be available for early arrival due to previous
reservations. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate
late check-out request for sites and cabins. Please
do not change sites without confirming with
the office first. Please respect other campers by
cleaning up campsite before departing. For any trash
or items
that do not fit in a trash bag, please either take
home with you or dispose of them in the dumpsters.
Firearms
Firearms or fireworks of any kind are not permitted.
Pets
Pets are not permitted with guest's who are staying
in our rental cabins or staying in tents. They are
not permitted in the pool area, or any public building.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but experience
has shown us that this rule is necessary for many reasons.
Quiet pets are permitted with the following restrictions:
All pets must be kept on a leash not to exceed 6’ at
all times. Pets must not disturb or post a danger to
other campers. All pets must be well behaved and quiet.
If there are any problems, we will ask you to make
other arrangements for your pet, or leave the campground.
When your pet is outside it must be supervised at all
times. You must clean up after your pet. If you plan
to visit HERSHEYPARK, their day kennel,” The
Barking Lot " is available for a small fee. The
operating hours coincide with the Park schedule. A
carrier case is required for boarding the shuttle bus
with your pet.
Quiet Hours
PLEASE OBSERVE QUIET HOURS FROM 11:00 PM TO 8:00 AM.
No generators, diesel engines or bright exterior
lighting may operate during quiet hours. Playgrounds
close at 9:00 PM in-season and at dusk during the
off-season.
Rates
Rates are based on two adults and two unmarried children
under 21 occupying a site. There is a charge of $4.00
per night for each additional person. We permit one
family and one camping unit per site. An additional
tent for
the registered camper's immediate family only will
be limited to one per site. Immediate family is defined
as unmarried children under 21 living with the parents.
An additional tent may be used only with prior approval
from the registration office. (Sorry, due to safety
concerns, no tents are permitted in the Woodland
full-hook-up area.) For non-family groups who wish
to camp, we permit one camping unit per site, with
a maximum
of 6 persons per site. There is a charge for day visitors
$5.00 for adults ages 18-up and $3.00 for children
ages 3-17.
Reservation Information
Reservations are now being accepted for 2008 and 2009.
A one night’s deposit is required, in advance
for all reservations. Advance reservations are suggested
year-round. A two-night minimum stay is required for
reservations. A three-night minimum stay will be in
affect for holiday weekends. Maximum stay is two weeks.
We will try our best to accommodate site requests,
but a specific site cannot be guaranteed. A deposit
equal to one night’s stay is required to hold
a reservation. Full payment for all campsites and cabin
rental is required one-month prior to check-in. Full
payment for Antique Auto week is required two-months
prior to check-in. Please note that if you are not
out of your site by 1:00 PM, we have the right to tow
your vehicle, camping unit, or remove your tent at
your expense. Please note that we are closed the first
two Fridays and Saturdays in June for a special event.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in campground buildings, restrooms,
cabins or pool area.
Tables and Grills
Please do not remove tables/grills from other sites.
Only charcoal or wood is to be burned in the fire
grill, not trash. Campfires are not to be higher
than 1 foot high. Please clean out the grill before
departing.
Tents
No tents or tent stakes allowed in the Woodland full
hook-up area. Pets are not permitted when camping
in a tent.
Train
There is an active freight railroad that runs adjacent
to the campground.
It runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week (frequency varies).
Vehicles
For the safety of children at play, the speed limit
throughout the campground is 5 1/2 mph. No
motor bikes are permitted (unless disabled or only
means of transportation). Vehicle washing is not permitted.
Unlicensed motorized vehicles and scooters are not
permitted in the campground. Golf carts are not allowed
except for guests with disabilities.
